Acceptance of terms

By making a booking, paying a deposit, or attending a session at the Studio, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not book a service.

Services we offer

The Studio offers the following services from our District 3 location in Ho Chi Minh City:

• Custom tattoo design and application across Japanese, realism black & grey, ornamental, blackwork, and Maori disciplines
• Body piercing (subject to artist availability)
• Custom design consultations
• Touch-up work on tattoos originally produced at the Studio

All work is by appointment, with walk-ins welcome during open hours where capacity permits. Services are provided as described during consultation; the Studio does not guarantee any specific outcome beyond what is agreed in writing.

Bookings & deposits

All tattoo and piercing appointments require a deposit to confirm your booking. The deposit:

• Is non-refundable under any circumstance, including cancellation by the Client
• Is non-transferable to another person, another design, or another studio
• Is applied toward the total cost of the agreed work
• Confirms artist time, design preparation, and reserved studio space

Final payment is due upon completion of the session unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Payment methods

We accept the following forms of payment:

• Bank transfer
• Card payment (Visa, Mastercard)
• PayNow (Singapore)
• PayLah (Singapore)
• Cash

Prices are quoted in Vietnamese Dong (VND) and are subject to change without notice prior to deposit payment. Once a deposit is paid, the agreed price is locked in.

Cancellations & rescheduling

We understand plans change. To preserve your deposit, please give us at least 5 days' notice if you need to reschedule. Within that window:

• Rescheduling more than 5 days before your appointment: your deposit is preserved against the new date
• Rescheduling within 5 days of your appointment: a new deposit is required to secure the new date
• Same-day cancellation or no-show: deposit is forfeited in full

Rescheduling can be requested by email, WhatsApp, or phone — please confirm receipt with us directly.

Late arrivals & no-shows

If you arrive more than 20 minutes late, your appointment may be treated as a no-show at the artist's discretion. No-shows forfeit their deposit and must pay a new deposit plus a rescheduling fee equal to 50% of the original quoted price to book again.

Touch-up policy

We stand behind our work. Any tattoo applied at the Studio that shows fading, line break, or pigment loss within 12 months of completion qualifies for a complimentary touch-up.

The touch-up policy does not apply to:

• Tattoos affected by improper aftercare (failure to follow our guidance)
• Excessive sun exposure or tanning without protection
• Scarring or healing complications caused by Client behaviour
• Changes the Client wishes to make to the original design
• Work done by another studio or artist

Touch-ups must be scheduled by appointment. The 12-month window is calculated from the date of the most recent ink session.

Health, safety & eligibility

For your safety and ours, the following requirements apply to every booking:

• Clients must be 18 years or older with a valid government-issued photo ID. Parental consent does not waive this requirement
• If you arrive under the influence of alcohol or drugs, your appointment will be cancelled and your deposit forfeited
• You must inform us in advance of any allergies, skin conditions, medications, pregnancy, or recent surgeries that may affect the procedure
• Pregnant or breastfeeding clients should consult their doctor before booking, and disclose this to the artist
• The Studio reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service at any time for client behaviour, health concerns, or safety considerations

Aftercare responsibility

After your session, your artist will give you personalised aftercare guidance covering cleaning, healing, and what to avoid. Vietnam's hot and humid climate adds particular healing considerations.

Aftercare is the Client's responsibility once you leave the Studio. The Studio is not liable for medical complications arising from improper aftercare, failure to follow instructions, or pre-existing conditions not disclosed at the time of booking.

Intellectual property & image use

All tattoo designs, sketches, references, and related artwork prepared by the Studio remain the exclusive property of the artist. The Client receives a personal, non-transferable licence to wear the tattoo on their body.

Designs may not be reproduced, copied, or tattooed by another artist without written consent from the original artist.

The Studio reserves the right to photograph completed work and use those images for our portfolio, website, social media, and other promotional or educational purposes. Identifying features (such as your face) are not shown unless you provide explicit consent. If you prefer not to have images of your tattoo or piercing used publicly, tell us at the time of your appointment.

Client conduct

Clients are expected to behave respectfully toward Studio staff, other clients, and the workspace. Any abusive, threatening, harassing, or inappropriate behaviour will result in immediate termination of services without refund and may be reported to the relevant authorities.

Liability

While every effort is made to ensure safety, hygiene, and craftsmanship, you acknowledge that tattooing and piercing involve inherent risks — including but not limited to infection, allergic reactions, fainting, scarring, and pigment migration over time.

The Studio is not liable for:

• Complications resulting from improper aftercare
• Pre-existing medical conditions not disclosed at booking
• Client failure to follow safety or aftercare guidance
• Normal pigment fade, blurring, or changes that occur over years as part of natural skin behaviour

To the maximum extent permitted by Vietnamese law, our total liability in respect of any claim is limited to the price paid for the service in question.

The Studio is not responsible for typographical errors, inaccurate listings, or temporary technical issues that may affect the functionality of www.raeink.com. Prices, hours, and information shown on the site are for general guidance and may change.

Governing law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. Any dispute arising in connection with these terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation, failing which it shall be referred to the competent courts of Ho Chi Minh City.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date at the top. By continuing to use our services after changes are posted, you accept the updated terms.
